DROID screen size

When developing applications for DROID we set the canvas size to 854x480 at 240dpi.

In comparison iPhone is 480x320 at 162 dpi.

Mobile phone operating system market share

Despite the fact that iPhone is dominating the market with sub-fifty percent of the smart phones, the only operating system seeing increase is Android. With 50 new Android phones coming out we should see this increase to be sharper.
