Steve Jobs' death is very personal for me...
I don't want to write about his life and accomplishments, the story will be repeated in every media channel hundreds of times for the days to come.
I wanted to say that I have been a die-hard Mac user since about 2001, in fact, this statement does not start to describe it, so I will provide the following statistic: since 2001 I bought two PowerMacs, one Mini, two PowerBooks, three iPhones and couple iPods, and all this does not include the phones and tablets I got from work.
I have read three biography books about Steve and countless articles -- I spent a lot of time re-thinking his management style and choices he made and I can honestly say that for me he was the most important and most visionary person in my professional field.
I am very sad that he is gone and despite I've got Android as my platform of choice, I will really miss him pushing the boundaries of what we should expect in product design.. sheer quality that nobody was ever been able to match.
