Department Description

The Secure Design Center (SDC) provides security products and services that span the Motorola ASTRO and Dimetra Land Mobile Radio Systems, and Motorola Broadband systems. 

The SDC develops products that provide encryption for both infrastructure and subscriber products, key management and distribution services. In Broadband, we also provide in-line encryption.

Scope of Responsibilities/Expectations 
We are seeking an experienced Android Applications Developer to join the Software Development Team.  The key responsibilities include developing secure applications for the mobile arena. 
The role is to work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, design, implementation, testing and deployment. This successful candidate will work within a multi-functional team to deliver applications that meet government needs.

Specific Knowledge/Skills 


The candidates for this position must meet the follow requirements where specified:

• Must be a US Citizen

• Android Development experience required – minimum 1 year

• Networking experience preferred

• Java development experience preferred

• DOORS and Clearcase experience preferred

• Knowledge of VoIP, Cryptography and Networking Security Protocols a plus

Knowledge of mobile device programming a plus
