Amazon Web Services (AWS) launched mobile SDKs (software development kits) that give an opportunity to developers to directly integrate their mobile applications for Android smartphones, Apple iPhone and iPad. That was stated in Amazon blog post on Thursday.
Amazon wants to make it more convenient for developers to build mobile apps that take advantage of its cloud-based services. Using them gives the possibility to integrate their applications with Simple Database, Storage, Notification service for sending messages, and Queue Service. According to Amazon statement there is no need for any additional server infrastructure to send messages between smartphones, to share game moves and scores, or to upload photos, videos, and other content to Amazon Storage.
