General Summary:

Responsible for complex analysis and architecture of retail systems. Will be working on high-priority new systms which will integrate in-store systems with mobile applications to enhance the customer shopping experience.

• Experience architecting large-scale/high transaction systems with multiple interfaces to external systems where response times are expected to be sub second.
• Experience with designing system of the typical 3-TIER web architecture and other distributed topologies
• Has strong knowledge with open-source frameworks such as Struts 2 and Axis2.
• Expertise in analyzing performance/system issues in JBoss and Mysql. 
• Experience with various web service protocols such as JSON, SOAP, RESTful
• Solid knowledge of implementing object oriented design patterns in J2EE within a distributed multi-platform environment across disparate systems.
• Experience with estimating and sizing hardware requirements for databases and web applications.
• Basic knowledge of Android and iOS application development.
• Implementation experience using Ajax or jQueryMobile a plus
• Ability to work in a fluid work environment and the ability to react quickly as requirements and priorities are changed.
• 5+ years industry experience
• 3+ years in IT architecture/lead position
