Forecast for Application Store Markets

Research Company Gartner stated that the revenue from mobile application will increase to 15.1 billion dollars this year.  Such a situation is encouraged by a great growth of Android Market. Google’s open platform is about to become the most popular OS in 2011 as phone manufacturers like Samsung, HTC, Motorola roll out new good models really often.

According to Gartner’s research 81% of all downloads will be made for free in 2011. 16% of app store markets’ revenue was gotten from advertising, and this percentage will grow to 30% by the end of 2014.
