Smartphones became very popular as they give their users great opportunities. A week ago we had news about partnership of LG and VMware that will provide ability to run dual OSes on a single phone. Today we got news about a great opportunity to use two SIM cards. Taiwanese company Gigabyte Communications is going to launch the Google Dual SIM Smartphone GSmart Rola. As you understand the most remarkable feature of the phone is the ability to work on two different networks at the same time, due to two slots for SIM cards. Besides, the smartphone supports not only GSM network, but also UMTS/HSDPA. GSmart Rola is supplied with 3.2-inch resistive touch screen with 240 × 400 pixels (WQVGA), 256 MB RAM and 512 MB of internal memory. It also has a slot for MicroSD flash card, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, GPS, electronic compass, a 3-megapixel camera and FM-tuner.This Gigabyte smartphone is going to be available in the first quarter of 2011 for a price of $215.
