German manufacturer Continential presented its full-blown in-car entertainment system AutoLinq at the Detroit auto show. The multi-functional system is ready for deployment in real world and will be available for cars’ production in the second part of 2011. AutoLinq is running Android OS and supports applications from Android Market. According to Continental’s statement, the apps will be available through Continental App Store, and will be downloaded either through phone link or smartphone connections.
And it is still very interesting which car provider will use AutoLinq and how much the system will cost.
