$75,000 Mobile App Challenge

If you have some idea for an app that can help the homeless, you should definitely participate in the Project REACH Mobile App Challenge

The Project Reach Mobile App Challenge will award a total of $75,000 to five (5) developers with technology that help to find easy access to a bed, meal, or medical services in real time.

• The contest opens on Thursday, March 22 and runs through July 27.
• Judging begins on July 28 through August 23.
• The first five applicants who meet the selection criteria will be announced by August 24 and will each receive $10,000.
• Those five finalists will, then, have the chance to compete for the $25,000 grand prize during a “beta stage” where their apps will be tested at a homeless shelter.
• The $25,000 grand prize winner will be announced on November 9, 2012.
